JFON supports a hospitality ministry that welcomes immigrants by providing free or low-cost, expert immigration legal services to low-income immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. We also engage in advocacy for immigrant justice, and offer education to communities of faith and to the public.
What We've Achieved
In 2017, the Justice for Our Neighbors network and Central Washington Justice For Our Neighbors has delivered a strategic and bold response to the most urgent legal needs of immigrants within our communities.
We have held over 19 accompaniments for community members

We have hired a Staff Immigration Attorney, Maxwell Olarsch
When the Trump Administration announced executive orders that brought significant change and confusion, JFON provided education and clarity.
When Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) came under threat, JFON held emergency clinics while steadily advocating for protections.
When underserved immigrant communities along the border or in detention could no longer be ignored, we expanded and adapted our services accordingly.
We have participated in work on the Keep Washington Working act with ACLU, WAISN and other partners which will promote pro-immigrant policy change through the writing process and meetings with the bill sponsors in the legislature.
