What We Do
At Central Washington Justice for Our Neighbors, community organizing and advocacy are at the heart of our mission to support and defend immigrant communities across the region. Through direct engagement, education, and coalition building, we work alongside community members to address systemic barriers and create lasting change.
Our organizing efforts focus on building relationships and trust with directly impacted individuals and families. We host regular legal clinics, community forums, Know Your Rights training, and Family Preparedness workshops, to ensure that people have access to accurate information and supportive resources. We also work in partnership with local organizations and faith communities to amplify the voices of immigrants and ensure their needs are represented in local and state level decision making. CWJFON’s advocacy includes both grassroots and policy work. We support efforts for pro immigration policies, expand access to legal services, and protect the rights and dignity of all people, regardless of immigration status. By centering the lived experiences of those most impacted, our goal is to build a more just, inclusive, and informed community in Central Washington.
